Naturally 4 Paws was created to become your one-stop shop for all natural, organic and holistic goods for your companion animals.  We carry only the healthiest foods, treats, supplements, and grooming supplies along with a unique and dynamic assortment of toys and accessories.   

Naturally 4 Paws is not just another “store”…  our goal is to provide you with a unique shopping experience, being a fun, friendly and educational place to visit for both you and your best friends.   

Additionally, we’ve tried to make the bathing experience as effortless as possible by installing three ergonomic, state-of-the-art, self-service bathing facilities for your use.  Each room is fully enclosed with an adjustable stainless steel tub, force air dryer and completely stocked with all the grooming supplies, towels and tools that you will need.  Visit our Self Service Bathing page for complete details.

In November 2008, we opened our 1800 square foot Training & Events Center.  We have teamed up with Noel Ritter from Guiding Hands Pet Obedience to offer a range of classes from basic obedience up through competitive obedience and pre-agility.  Visit our Training Center page for complete details.

Long ago in a land far, far away….  yours truly used to feed our beloved Shetland Sheepdog, Goephyr, with a national brand of dog food (whose name has been withheld to protect the not-so-innocent) sold at the local grocery stores. At the time we didn’t know any better.  When Goephyr developed Cushing’s Disease we immediately started researching the pet food industry and what we found was shocking! 

We learned that Goephyr’s food was filled with artificial and unhealthy ingredients, cooked at a temperature that destroys most of the nutritional benefits, and likely was a major contributing factor to his disease.  We were aghast, ashamed and vowed that none of our future friends would be subjected to such low quality food.

Naturally 4 Paws is locally owned and operated by two individuals from Seabeck who got tired of long trips to find good quality products for their three dogs (Rascal, Rusty and Rowdy).  So we opened our own store in Silverdale to provide our local community with the best the industry has to offer.

Although we appreciate the efforts of the mega-national chain stores and the boom they’ve helped to create in the pet industry, they don’t focus on all-natural, organic and holistic products or always provide the best customer service. 

We also decided to focus on community education and outreach.  How many other loving pet owners (like we once were) are out there feeding their best friends food that isn’t healthy for them?  Animals that are fed a natural, healthy diet live longer and happier lives; have fewer behavioral problems, and visit the vet’s office much less frequently (don’t get us wrong, we love vets…  it’s just that we want our visits to be limited to regular check-ups and not emergency visits or long-term terminal illnesses). 

Although the all-natural and organic foods do cost a little more than those “common” brands, the savings are realized through stronger, healthier and happier companions.  And isn’t that the goal of all animal lovers?
